Hi Guys,

Thought i'd start a thread to post news updates about our products.

Have made a small update to the site, added some more dealers, and also we now stock an adaptor to allow reading of stock tunes. More information here:

http://www.tiperform...cts.html#reader

Cheers,
Jason

Small update guys (that took a lot of time!). New and Updated Tech Docs are available on the site! We have updated the tech docs section and added two new tech docs, including a guide on Installing EL ECUs into EA-ED Falcons along with a guide on how to read EECs using the F2E reader. See the site at http://www.tiperformance.com.au/ for more information.

Cheers,
Jason

Hey guys,

Have just completed a few minor updates to the site. Have been doing a few interesting tunes of late, including:

- A tune for an EF track mule, for a guy off Fordmods (this was actually done a while back but I just put up the photos @ http://www.tiperform...&page=6&limit=3
- A tune for a AU 6 Cyl conversion into a Landcruiser, running EF ECU (Manual, no BEM/smartlock etc)

Also had some enquiries about EFI conversions in Mustangs, etc. Good to see people thinking outside the square!

Haven't seen much interest in the wideband kits, have probably sold 5 total which is surprising given I sell them cheaper than TechEdge! If you are interested, check out the site. I can do deals on other TechEdge gear, if people are interested send me a PM.

Also, if you have one of our chips & your car is not currently on the Owners Gallery, please contact me!

Cheers,
Jason

Have made some minor updates on the site, including adding a Featured Car to the home page! If you have one of our chips, make sure you add your car to the Owners Gallery by clicking here: http://www.tiperform...ry_user_add.php

Also, I've been working on refining the WinLog dashboard I use when tuning, as I have been fiddling with my own car to get some more economy out of it and make sure it's safe for the hot weather. Anyhow, the result (click to enlarge):

If you have a TechEdge wideband controller and want to try it out, download from: http://www.tiperform...u/techedge.html

Cheers,
Jason

T.I. Performance has sold it's 200th Chip! That's right, we've hit a major milestone! That's 200 cars getting around Australia with a T.I. Performance J3 chip, before our 2nd birthday! If you have our gear, make sure you add your car to the Owners Gallery!

Hey guys,

Finally got around to putting together a prototype 'switch chip' / tune selector switch / [insert marketing name here]. Pretty simple device, you can already run up to four tunes in our current chips - this device lets you switch between them via a rotary dial. This can be installed anywhere on the dash. Can be used for an LPG specific tune, Valet tune, speed limited/rev limited/high octane etc.

I'd be looking to sell this for somewhere around $50 to make it worthwhile. At the moment I am just trying to gauge interest. Is this something you guys would be keen on? Some pics below, click the thumbnail for a full size version.

^ I would certainly like to have one of these switch setups when I get around to purchasing a J3. Especially if it's around $50; pretty cheap insurance when you consider the benefits of "valet" mode.

Off topic, but can a custom-tuned chip be ordered without having to get the car on a dyno first? Obviously it won't be optimal but surely that would be better than rocking up to the tuners with a blank chip?

Hey Guys,

I finally got my EF dyno'd (tuned with a T.I. Performance J3 chip of course) on the weekend, pretty happy with the result: 207rwkw @ 6psi! For a little more info on the car check out the owners gallery: http://www.tiperform...allery.php?id=1

Just a quick question; when purchasing a new custom pre-programmed chip with selector switch, is it necessary to pay for four separate tunes or are they all included in the asking price?

Cheers, Tim.

Hi Tim,

The Custom Pre Programmed Chip comes with one tune. If you require additional tunes, they will need to be purchased seperately. If the differences are small enough I may be able to work on the price - all custom orders require some correspondance about the changes required etc.

Cheers,
Jason

Just a quick note to let you know that TechEdge have launched their updated 2J2 Wideband Controller. With similar features and an updated cabling system, these are even easier to install than the 2J1. See the product page for more info. Now in stock!

Jason
