Actually DIY isn't that hard if you can buy the parts and you have basic tools. I did mine myself and I'm not really mechanically skilled.
thanks... i had some people from my other car club offer to help me out thinking about it. I got a really cheap quote from somewhere in Rockingham so not sure which way im going to go yet.

same hey. my quote was for ultra lows but i don't think it really makes too much difference in the price either way you go... im thinking i might just go super low i don't want to be too low... can't make my mind up either lol

only way to know its done properly either do it yourself or have a close mate who you know 100% will do it properly so many so called workshops couldn't work on a car properly to save there lives hence why i do most of my own work and only use people i can trust

After a while I wanted it lower (and more level) so I fitted ultralows in the front and I cut a coil off the rear superlows. Now I have a perfect height that's barely legal and sits exactly level. Some speed humps are a challenge but most are ok; I had to remove the splashguards from the front to avoid scraping the tyres and also rolled the guard lips slightly.

yeah I know that's why I am stuck on what to do! I had another EF before this one and I got rid of it cos it had all the same problems that I am having with this car so I got rid of a lemon after spending so much money on it and bought another lemon and having the same problems hahaha. grrrrr so frustrating!!!

Everyone complains about their e-series like it's the only car ever to have parts shit themselves after 200,000km of faithful service. Actually most cars are like that. EF's are about 15 years old; naturally not every part on the car will last that long so you will be replacing things quite often. Just use it as a learning experience. You have a great car; just show the love and don't lose patience with it.
