hi guyz:

my airbag warning light stays on after starting the car now, firstly there is 1 long flash followed by 2 shorter flashes, so I guess this means a CODE 12 WARNING. does anyone know what a code 12 is?????

No idea what it means. I looked it up and couldn't find anything on a code "12" or "1 - 2" or anything... Mine does the same thing and I've just left it until now :P

If you find out, let us know!

I've had this in a couple of my EF / EL falcons its no biggie

check the fuse for the airbag, (if its blown replace it). To reset the airbag light you need to disconnect the cars battery for about 30 minutes.

If the fuse is ok and the the airbag light stays on after having the battery disconnected for 30 minutes you will have to take it to ford or an auto sparky to get it reset.

99% of the time its the fuse for airbag but you still have to disconnect the battery to reset the airbag system once the fuse has been replaced or the airbag light will stay on.

hope it works for you.
